Red Rubber Grease
Red Rubber Grease is a premium quality, biodegradable, Bentone thickened automotive grease for use in hydraulic systems and especially braking systems, where compatibility with natural, Styrene Butadiene (SBR), and other types of rubber seal is desirable.
What Is Red Rubber Grease?
It is a premium quality grease used commonly in the automotive industry. Red Rubber Grease has many applications and but mainly used on hydraulic and braking systems for the lubrication of rubber bushes, seals and O rings during the installation or rebuild process. It is designed to lubricate moving parts such as slide pins in the brake caliper to aid in assembly and protect them from damage caused by friction.
Caution: Lack of adequate lubrication may lead to premature wear of components and an increase risk of rubber parts becoming dry, brittle resulting in tearing or rupturing of components.
What is Red Rubber Grease made from?
This automotive grease is manufactured using unique vegetable base oils, this is to reduce the risk of rubber components swelling and deforming which can be caused my petroleum based products. The base oils are incorporated into a non melting thickener to ensure that any excess heat from the braking system will not lead to lubrication leaking or dripping onto braking surfaces. Red dye is included as an identifier to highlight it against other products in and around the workshop to prevent errors in use.
